A large fire broke out in the early afternoon at the Horse Country stables in Arborea. The flames, fanned by the wind, engulfed the entire wing of the riding arena. Unfortunately, despite prompt rescue efforts, six horses, a foal, and a dog were unable to survive.

The other animals are all reportedly safe, and several teams of Oristano firefighters are working on the scene. Mayor Manuela Pintus also rushed to the scene immediately to personally verify the situation.

A few years ago, there had already been a fire near the accommodation facility and another had devastated part of the pine forest.
