First the fight over the inheritance, then the damage and death threats, the resistance to the police and finally the arrest . It was a particularly eventful evening on Thursday when Renzo Schiavon, a 46-year-old from Arborea, ended up in jail on charges of threats, injuries, damage and resistance to a public official .

After the arrest was validated, the man was ordered to remain in Arborea; he will appear before the judge for the summary trial on September 30.

The disagreements over inheritance issues had been going on for some time but in recent days the situation has degenerated. The 46-year-old , brandishing an iron pipe, began to hit tools and vehicles inside the relatives' company, then with a wood-splitting axe he damaged a silo for feed and the door of the milking room . And more threats against his cousin. The request for help was immediately made to the Carabinieri of the Arborea station who, in a few minutes, arrived at the company and tried to calm the situation. Renzo Schiavon, however , continued to brandish the axe also towards the soldiers, threatened to smash their car claiming that if they arrested him, once out of prison he would kill his cousin . The atmosphere was increasingly tense, in the end after a fight in which the Carabinieri marshal was also injured , the man was stopped and arrested.

The prosecutor Valerio Bagattini requested validation, the judge Silvia Mascia ordered the prohibition of residence in Arborea pending the direct trial. The defense attorney Fabio Costa requested terms for the defense, the trial was set for September 30.
