€400 was stolen from the cash register. This is the proceeds of a robbery at the Maria Vittoria pastry shop in Arbatax. The incident occurred last night.

The owner of the business, which opened in 1999, had no choice but to call the Carabinieri of the Lanusei branch, who began an investigation to identify the perpetrator of the attack. The video cameras installed outside the Banco di Sardegna branch could prove crucial in the investigation.

From the video surveillance system, the Carabinieri personnel are confident that they will be able to acquire valuable information to identify the person (or persons) responsible for the theft.

According to preliminary investigations, the perpetrator entered the shop, located at number 8 Via Porto Frailis, through a window. Once inside, he rushed to the cash register, located next to the display cases displaying the sweets, and pocketed the €400 , fleeing with it.
