The judge for the preliminary hearings of Cagliari, Ermengarda Ferrarese , abstained , who this morning should have decided on the indictment of the regional councilor for General Affairs , Valeria Satta , who ended up in the investigation on the appointment as director general of the Presidency and Civil Protection regional by Silvia Curto and Pasquale Belloi .

The decision of the gup came after, as part of the same proceeding, it had pronounced itself in recent weeks, indicting the governor Christian Solinas for abuse of office , but also sentencing the head of cabinet Maria Grazia Vivarelli to 2 years and 8 months.

The councilor Satta was present in the courtroom with the defense lawyer Massimiliano Ravenna who should have discussed today.

The prosecutor, prosecutor Andrea Vacca , had asked for the indictment of all three, but then the head of the cabinet of the presidency, also an administrative magistrate, had opted for the shortened trial. The conviction of Maria Grazia Vivarelli is linked to the accusation of abuse of office and undue induction , while in Solinas only the abuse of office is contested. Councilor Valeria Satta, in addition to abuse of office, must also answer for attempted extortion (according to the prosecutor, he would have tried to impose the signature on the renewal of the appointment to Belloi on the same personnel director.

After the Ferrarese judge's abstention, the accused will have to appear again on November 25 before Judge Giuseppe Pintori: the preliminary hearing will start from scratch .
