Appointments in the Region, the former governor Solinas on trial

The former governor of Sardinia Christian Solinas and 18 other people , including the then councilors Anita Pili and Alessandra Zedda , the former regional councilor of the Psd'Az Nanni Lancioni, the former head of ATS and ASPAL, Massimo Temussi , current general director of active policies of the Ministry of Labor, and the president of Confindustria Sardegna Maurizio De Pascale , have been sent for trial as part of an investigation linked to some appointments made in the Region and deemed illegitimate by the Cagliari Prosecutor's Office , which had also raised the question of the constitutional illegitimacy of the abrogation of the crime of abuse of office.
Solinas will have to defend himself against the charge of undue inducement. While the preliminary hearing judge Roberto Cau, who set the start of the trial for next April 3 , rejected the request of the prosecution - advanced by the PM Andrea Vacca - on article 323 of the penal code (abuse of office), reiterating the dismissal of the case as the case is no longer a crime. The defendants will not be prosecuted for bid-rigging either because "the fact does not exist".
The prosecutor's office is examining several appointments made in the Region and by some entities controlled by the Region. The investigation also focuses on the 2020 positions held at the top of Aspal and those at the direction of the Mining and Environmental Recovery Service of the Industry Department.
Along with the people already mentioned , Silvia Curto herself, Silvia Cocco, Barbara Porru, Gianluca Calabrò, Emilio Fiorelli, Giancarlo Orrù, Silvia Cocco, Nicola Giuliani, Marco Santoru, Francesca Piras, Damiana Palmira Pedoni, Gianfranco Porcu, Pasquale Onida will go to trial on various charges .
The former director of Aspal Sardegna Maika Aversano and the sole director of Arst Roberto Neroni are instead leaving the trial .
