Macomer celebrated another centenary . Antonio Manca turned 100 today. The town was filled with joy. To celebrate this important milestone, in addition to his children, relatives, and many friends, Antonio Manca was visited by Mayor Riccardo Uda and City Councilor Teresa Bucciarelli, who presented the elderly man with a commemorative parchment and the Veneretta, the symbol of Macomer.

The municipal administrators also expressed the sympathy of the entire community. The parish priest, Father Andrea Rossi, and his deputy, Father Marco Saurra, also joined the celebration, offering a moment of prayer and reflection, but above all, thanksgiving for a long and fulfilling life.

Last December 11th the town celebrated the 100th birthday of tiu Finu Sanna, but next spring it will celebrate the 102nd birthday of the former teacher, Tonia Giglio and of tia Angela Porcu
