Two operations against drug dealing and approximately 2.5 kilos of marijuana seized in the Oristano area .
The first, in the city, was carried out by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Command together with colleagues from the local Station and a canine unit from the “Cacciatori di Sardegna” Helicopter Squadron of Abbasanta.
During a targeted house search, officers found approximately 900 grams of marijuana, 40 grams of hashish, and two electronic scales . A man was arrested and taken to Massama prison before a sentencing hearing, after which the alleged drug dealer was required to sign in.
The second operation was carried out in Marrubiu and represents the culmination of an investigation to dismantle a criminal syndicate. A man was arrested red-handed; in his home, Carabinieri officers from the local station, along with colleagues from the Oristano Company's Operations Section, found 1,450 kilograms of marijuana , as well as precision scales and packaging materials. The man was placed under house arrest.
