One drug dealer was arrested in Villacidro, the other in Cagliari's San Michele neighborhood. What the operations conducted by the Falcons of the Cagliari Flying Squad have in common, in addition to the type of "product" being sold, is that they were triggered by reports to the police station via the YouPol app, which allows users to report, even anonymously, suspected drug dealing and suspicious situations.

After a period of observation, the first raid took place in Villacidro: inside the home of a thirty-year-old, officers found approximately 80 grams of marijuana, 200 grams of hashish, and a further 60 grams of ketamine and methamphetamine, as well as €3,100 in cash.

Altra droga sequestrata

The second operation was carried out in the "San Michele" district of the capital: here, a thirty-three-year-old man was caught at home in possession of 11 grams of cocaine.

Precision scales and packaging materials were seized from both homes, evidence that suggests drug dealing was taking place. It is believed that some of the seized substances, particularly synthetic ones like ketamine and methamphetamine, were likely destined for rave parties, where these drugs are particularly prevalent.

After the immediate hearing, the thirty-year-old was ordered to report to the judicial police. The Cagliari native, however, already under the measure of being placed under social services and with a specific criminal record for drug dealing, was taken to prison.
