«If you have to go to Sassari, starting from Ozieri, or vice versa, stop in Ardara because we'll offer you a coffee». Nothing more hospitable is the formula proposed by the mayor, Francesco Dui, to invite motorists to stop in the town of Logudoro.

A free suspended coffee , in one of the Ardara bars, will be offered by the mayor following the closure of several sections of the 597 state road (ex Sassari-Olbia) by Anas , including the one that allows, in particular for those traveling from and for Ozieri, to pass in front of the historic Mesu 'e Rios petrol station.

To travel from the Chilivani roundabout in the direction of Sassari, and vice versa, there are only two possibilities left: move in the direction of Olbia and then go back just before Bar 597 and vice versa, or head towards Tola, turn towards Ardara and cross it, where it will be possible to taste the suspended coffee and then resume the route towards the crossroads of state road 729 (15.2 km). « Someone might be wondering what the meaning of this gesture is? No one in particular except to have our community visited, even if with a trivial excuse », underlines Francesco Dui.
