Few words. Very few. And a lot of fear. Sabrina Licheri, M5S senator and former mayor of Assemini, published a post on Facebook yesterday in which she suggests that she is being persecuted by a stalker. Contacted by telephone, the parliamentarian did not respond and did not comment on WhatsApp either.

But the story that involves her is well known in her entourage, judging by the comments that can be read under the post. Licheri wrote on Facebook yesterday morning. "He still follows me, he still thinks about me and he still worries me." Then the hashtag «#obsessions» with the underlining «to be monitored». Along with that sparse sentence, the Five Star senator published a screenshot of a photo of herself, which is the image used by the alleged stalker, as can be seen from Facebook. Moreover, the name of the social media user was deliberately covered by the parliamentarian with what in digital jargon is called "chalk", black in colour. Licheri left only the content of the post in which she was mentioned highlighted, to the point of feeling persecuted. "Malindi mon amour", wrote the alleged stalker, according to the photo published by the senator on her public page. There are around ninety likes on the post. Over ten comments of solidarity, in which, among other things, the senator is invited to report the fact.

The image that Licheri spread to denounce the persecution of which she is a victim, as she herself says, portrays her wearing a red t-shirt relating to a public initiative organized in the Municipality of Assemini. “There is reason to be afraid of these obsessive people,” we read in one of the comments. “Worth noting,” writes yet another person. At the moment it is not known whether the senator has filed a complaint or reported the case to the police. Licheri's public Facebook page revived yesterday. But it had stopped since June 10th, the day after the European and municipal elections.
