Fear erupted around 7 p.m. along State Road 130, in the municipality of Assemini, the scene of a road accident that had serious repercussions on traffic.
The accident occurred in the direction of Iglesias, on the left side of the traffic light on Via Piave. For reasons currently under investigation, a vehicle was involved in a collision, forcing authorities to temporarily close the road.
The injured man was rescued and taken to hospital.
Anas personnel and Assemini local police officers are on site to manage traffic and conduct necessary investigations. The officers towed the vehicle away, and traffic was immediately restored.
Traffic was severely impacted: the state highway was blocked, and traffic quickly came to a halt. To limit disruption, traffic was diverted into Assemini—directing it toward Via Piave—or toward the industrial area of ​​the SS 130 on the right, toward the nurseries and flower greenhouse, resulting in long queues.
