It was a busy night for the Fire Brigade of the Nuoro provincial command , engaged in two separate major interventions in the area.
The first incident occurred around 2 a.m. in Cala Gonone . A team from the Nuoro command intervened to put out a fire that had engulfed a camper parked outside the "Cala Gonone" campsite . The firefighters promptly extinguished the flames and secured the area, thus avoiding worsening consequences. Carabinieri from the Siniscola company and 118 medics were also on site.
A few hours earlier, around midnight, another incident required the intervention of the Siniscola Fire Brigade team. On Via Tasso, in Budoni, two cars had violently collided for reasons still under investigation . Fortunately, the occupants of the vehicles did not suffer serious injuries . The Fire Brigade's intervention focused on securing the area, which was particularly sensitive as one of the cars involved was powered by LPG. Law enforcement officers were also present in this case to carry out the necessary investigations.
