"It will be a great honor for me to represent Mayor Massimo Zedda and the entire city of Cagliari for the Feast of Sant'Efisio in such an important and prestigious role." Marzia Cilloccu, the municipal councilor of Orizzonte Comune appointed Alter Nos for the 369th feast, says this with an uninterrupted smile.

"An extraordinary emotion that I live with great enthusiasm and honor because this is a celebration for the people of Cagliari but also for all Sardinians since we are talking about a very heartfelt event that is not limited to the day of May 1st."

Marzia Cilloccu has always experienced the Feast of Sant'Efisio very closely, and not only has she taken part in the procession and all the rites that end every year with the dissolution of the vow by the city, but she also has a family bond with the Saint.

"This is a perpetual vow that dates back to 1652 and is particularly significant for my family. My grandfather Marino Cao in 1943, with great courage, offered to carry Sant'Efisio out of his church through a city devastated by bombings, in order to avoid interrupting this tradition ."
