The first weekend of Signal Reload has just passed, but before the second round of events begins, the TiConZero organizers have another special event in store, this time in collaboration with the Electronic Music class of the Cagliari Conservatory : this Thursday the 18th, "Polline - Multimedia Arts Festival" is scheduled, an entire evening dedicated to electroacoustic music and transmedia, starting at 6 pm on the Ghetto terrace. Among the Conservatory's new talents and veteran composers, the featured guest is jazz pianist Rosario Di Rosa.

The program

Polline, now in its ninth year, will open Thursday with a performance by Francesco Perissi and Giovanni Magaglio: the former, a sound designer and composition teacher, the latter a visual artist and multimedia teacher, who will welcome the first audience members to the interdisciplinary dimension of the festival. They will be followed by master of the genre Walter Prati, who will present the electronic-algorithm piece "Soni Admirabiles," and musician Marta Loddo, with her solo project, which focuses solely on voice and loopstation, which she has performed live since 2013. The evening's special guest is internationally renowned jazz pianist Rosario Di Rosa, whose electroacoustic composition "S'Animu" was recently selected for the prestigious "Sonic Saturday" at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria, competing against over 166 musicians. From the Conservatory's halls comes the Entretiens Ensemble, whose five members will each rearrange a piece from Maurice Ravel's suite "Ma mère l'oie." Professor Elia Aresu is also expected.

The event is supported by the Region and the Sardinia Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
