The president of the Environment Commission of the Municipality of Alghero, Christian Mulas, group leader of Orizzonte Comune, is not alarmed by the tomato juice thrown over his car and on the doorstep of his house, but rather by the meaning that this could hide: «A threat – Mulas cuts short – a real act of intimidation».
The majority councilor's car was parked in via Matteotti, in an open underpass where the tenants of the buildings leave their cars. The reasons for such a prank are unknown.
The only thing that comes to mind for the president of the commission is that a few days ago, on the occasion of the inauguration of the new playground in via Matteotti, someone had something to say about the redevelopment of the green area, because dogs would no longer be welcomed, especially if free and without a leash, as has always happened in that place up to now.
