Three Italian citizens, one of them a minor, have been reported by the Alghero police for a serious incident of violence that occurred last summer at the Baia di Conte Hotel.

The three, a father, his son, and a friend, had brutally attacked a waiter after he refused to serve a free drink to a young guest without an "all-inclusive" wristband. After a few hours, the employee was attacked by the three and kicked and punched, even while he was already on the ground. Only the intervention of other workers stopped the beating.

Investigations by the Alghero police station identified all those responsible, who were reported to the judicial authorities for aggravated personal injury and reported to the Anti-Crime Division of the Sassari Police Headquarters for preventive measures.

The three are not thought to be connected to mafia organizations, as initially suspected. During their stay, the group reportedly repeatedly engaged in arrogant and intimidating behavior toward hotel staff.
