The ASL 1 inaugurated it within the complex structure of Otolaryngology of the Civil Hospital of Alghero, to diagnose and respond concretely, providing the most appropriate therapy, to patients affected by these respiratory difficulties that if not diagnosed in time, can have extreme consequences.
Snoring or sleep apnea affects 10% of the Italian population, especially men. We spoke with the director of the center, Sebastiano Carboni, about the consequences that can be faced and how to intervene to avoid the risk of stroke and heart attack .
