An elderly lady was crossing the street near the pedestrian crossing when two young men on scooters hit her, overtaking a car that had stopped on the crossing to let the lady pass .

The impact was very violent. The woman fell on the asphalt hitting her head . The two on the motorbike ran away towards the Sant'Agostino neighbourhood. On site were the local police officers and a 118 ambulance that provided first aid and then transported the unfortunate woman, who was alert and conscious, to the Civil Hospital. She was assigned a yellow code.

The municipal police carried out surveys on the road and collected the testimonies of some passers-by who witnessed the scene.
