Race against time to save the life of a 3 year old Sardinian boy.
The little one was urgently transported from Alghero to Florence with a Falcon 900 of the 31st Stormo of the Italian Air Force due to the critical health conditions in which he was.
The aircraft, one of the assets of the Armed Forces ready 24 hours a day for this kind of need - explains the Air Force -, on the orders of the Summit Situation Room of the Air Force Command, took off shortly after 5 from the airport of the Catalan city at dawn, with the little patient, his mother and a medical team on board for health care during the flight.
Once he arrived in Florence, the child was then transported by ambulance to the Meyer hospital.
