The Fois family's Alghero-based companies have achieved great success in the new edition of Gambero Rosso's 2026/27 Italian Olive Oil Guide, one of the most authoritative references in the national olive oil sector. Accademia Olearia, Eredi Fois, Antonello Fois, and Tenute Fois-Argei have won numerous awards, with Accademia Olearia receiving the prestigious title of "Company of the Year." This result confirms the quality and entrepreneurial vision of the Alghero-based family, which has been committed to promoting Sardinian extra virgin olive oil for years. "Receiving this recognition is a source of great pride for us," say Alessandro Fois and Antonello Fois. "It is the fruit of teamwork and a strong connection to the local area. We will continue to invest in quality, sustainability, and innovation."

Numerous products have been recognized by the guide, which awards "Leaves" as a symbol of excellence, with the highest recognition being the Three Leaves. Accademia Olearia earned the Three Leaves with its "Riserva del Produttore DOP Sardegna," while Eredi Fois achieved the highest award with its "Medium Fruity." Tenute Fois-Argei also earned Three Leaves with its "Argei Fruttato Medio." Several other oils were distinguished with Two Leaves and Two Red Leaves in their respective categories.

"These awards represent not only a milestone, but also a responsibility," emphasizes Carmela Monni, CEO of Accademia Olearia. "Our thoughts also go to my husband Giuseppe, a pioneer in olive growing innovation, who has passed on his passion and love for this work to our children." The 2026/27 Italian Olive Oils Guide will be officially presented on June 19th in Naples, at an event dedicated to the sector's excellence. This achievement consolidates the Fois family's position among the leaders in quality Italian olive growing, combining tradition and innovation.
