Under the influence of alcohol, he attacks local police officers during the seizure of his wheelchair motorcycle. The episode occurred on Saturday evening in Alghero, between the Lepanto gardens and the Tarantiello dock, during the operation of the municipal men, coordinated by Major Annalisa Brundu, engaged in issuing the seizure order for the vehicle, an Ape 50 motorcycle without insurance and without a MOT since 2012.
The request for a tow truck to seize the motorcycle unnerved the man, a 43-year-old with a criminal record, already known to the police, who reacted by going into a rage and attempting to resist the officers with threats and aggression. The local police, after trying to calm him down, handcuffed him and took him to the Alghero command headquarters and, by order of the magistrate on duty, he was reported at large.
