Diving prohibited in Sant'Imbenia, in the heart of the Porto Conte park. Arpa Sardegna – Department of Sassari, has communicated the need to temporarily close to swimming the stretch of water relating to the Alghero B089SS – Porto Conte - Sant'Imbenia seaside resort .

The samples taken on September 18th, carried out by the Regional Agency for Environmental Protection, revealed the bacteriological non-compliance of the waters . Consequently, the Municipality of Alghero, through act no. 19 of September 18th signed by the mayor Raimondo Cacciotto, ordered a bathing ban in the affected stretch.

The next sampling for monitoring the reference parameters is scheduled for today , the results of which will be the subject of relevant measures in the coming days.
