Mr. Antonio Monti celebrated his 100th birthday yesterday with a toast surrounded by his large and affectionate family.

For the occasion he also received a visit from Mayor Raimondo Cacciotto who wanted to extend his best wishes on behalf of the municipal administration for the milestone achieved, honoring him with a parchment.

Antonio Monti was born on September 8, 1924, he is married to Mrs. Titina and celebrated together with his five children, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A well-known face in the world of Alghero schools, having served for many years as secretary in the Institute in via Tarragona.
