This is the outcome of an operation conducted by the Alghero police who, following an investigative effort and stakeouts, arrested a woman resident in the city, already known to law enforcement, who was caught red-handed on charges of possession with intent to sell narcotics.
The operation is the result of an investigative activity and stakeout services near the woman's home, believed by investigators to be a drug dealing point.
The raid began when officers noticed the arrival of a known drug user, suspecting a drug deal was in progress. Upon entering the apartment, officers conducted a search , seizing 36 packages of heroin, pre-packaged and ready for sale, as well as two precision electronic scales and packaging materials.
The woman was thus arrested on charges of possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
