A car was damaged by a firecracker thrown in the early hours of this morning on Via Don Sturzo, in Alghero.

The homemade bomb damaged the car parked along the street, shattering some windows. No injuries were reported.

The prompt intervention of firefighters, alerted by residents of the street, prevented further damage. Officers from the Alghero police station are investigating the incident.
