Fears erupted this morning in Alghero for a father and his two-year-old daughter, who were struck by a car while they were walking on Via Sant'Agostino . They were struck by a white Volkswagen T-Roc, driven by a 57-year-old man from Alghero.
The father, a 32-year-old man from Alghero, and the little girl were rescued after the impact thanks to the timely intervention of the air ambulance . Fortunately, according to initial reports, neither of them suffered serious injuries .
Local police officers arrived on site to investigate and reconstruct the accident.
