The heavy rains that fell on eastern Sardinia did not cause immediate damage but swelled the river. Mayor Sandro Porcu is monitoring the situation minute by minute.

11 am – There is another problem for Villaputzu: the Flumendosa at its mouth is encountering a strong storm surge and the discharge of water, in view of the arrival of the flood wave, may not be regular. Mayor Sandro Porcu is concerned that the surrounding land may flood.
