Six driving licenses were withdrawn during road checks organized over the weekend by the Nuoro Polstrada.

The same number of motorists - five men and one woman - who were caught by the officers driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, greeted their driving licenses.

Overall, during the service to prevent the so-called "Saturday Night Massacres", 80 driving license points were deducted and 11 infringements were reported.
