Tickets will go on sale next weekend for five regional continuity routes for which offers have been received.

Here is the air traffic continuity plan starting from March 29, 2026:

- Cagliari – Rome Fiumicino Aeroitalia (new territorial continuity, service without financial compensation)

- Cagliari – Milan Linate Aeroitalia (new territorial continuity)

- Olbia – Rome Fiumicino Aeroitalia (new territorial continuity, service without financial compensation)

- Olbia – Milan Linate (new territorial continuity, service without financial compensation)

- Alghero – Rome Fiumicino (new territorial continuity)

Regarding the Alghero–Milan Linate route, not currently covered by the new tender, the connection has been secured by extending the existing service . ITA Airways will therefore continue to operate the route until the end of the IATA Summer season, scheduled for the end of October.

In the meantime, the Region will have to publish a new dedicated tender , with the aim of aligning this connection with the other five in the new territorial continuity framework.

Furthermore, the possibility remains open for other carriers to join the service without financial compensation for approximately a month, and in any case until the final conclusion of the tender procedures, as has already happened on three routes.

«The new model guarantees a greater overall number of frequencies, a better distribution of timetables and, above all, an expansion of the categories eligible for discounts: in addition to residents, relatives of residents and workers also benefit from the reduced fares, for the entire year», explains the regional councillor for Transport, Barbara Manca.
