Self-certifications for those flying to and from Sardinia with discounted rates . This was announced by the Councilor for Transport Barbara Manca, who in the latest meetings of the Monitoring Committee on Territorial Continuity tried to address some issues that "complicate life" for Sardinian travelers.

First of all , self-certification, which simplifies the travel procedure for residents, workers, under 21s, students under 27s, and over 70s. In particular, for students who will no longer have to present their university booklet.

Other issues addressed in the meetings attended by Aeroitalia, Ita, Volotea and the top management of ENAC were the overcoming of the limitations on the purchase of tickets through agencies (which will now be able to purchase 20) and the total reimbursement of additional services not provided.

The representative of the Regional Council asked the top management of Aeroitalia to change the timeframes for making reservation changes, in line with Ita and Volotea : therefore, from the current 180 minutes before the flight time to 90. And the airline said it was ready to adapt.

These meetings, Manca said, "have confirmed how fundamental the constant work of verification and dialogue between the department, the airlines and the other actors involved is. Ensuring compliance with the provisions of the ministerial decree is not only a regulatory obligation, but a commitment that we assume towards the citizens of Sardinia , to ensure them an increasingly adequate and efficient service".

The councilor shows "appreciation" for the "effort of the carriers" and hopes that these changes become effective "as soon as possible".
