The first outing of the season for the Beaver Colony of the Agesci Porto Torres 1 group. Along with the newly formed Beaver Colony of the Agesci Sassari 4 group, the Beaver Colonies (children aged 5 to 7) met with over 140 peers from various groups across Sardinia. The regional gathering, titled "Area Swim," took place in Oristano. For the "Beaver" Scout communities, this is a first for all the Island's Colonies. Initially concentrated in Cagliari and the surrounding area, these events are now beginning to take off. The day began at 10 a.m. with a fun activity, despite the rain that made it difficult to carry out the activities. The Spring Meeting, organized by the Italian Beaver Association (Sardinia Area Coordination) and Agesci (Italian Catholic Guides and Scouts Association), which involved approximately 140 Beaver Colonies and approximately 40 leader educators, was a resounding success.

The initiative represents an educational and sharing opportunity for the little ones, characterized by the values of scouting and focusing on listening to others and respecting the environment and community. Weather conditions forced the organizers to hold the activities on the premises of the Parish of San Giuseppe Lavoratore.
The beavers' educational experiences are based on play, creativity, and nature. Organized into "Colonies," the beavers learn to share, collaborate, and respect the environment through hands-on activities, play, and imagination, all immersed in nature. Meanwhile, the scouts are preparing for spring activities and summer camps, with registration now open at the Spirito Santo parish in Porto Torres.
