Afternoon of thunderstorms in eastern Sardinia, there is an alert

An afternoon of thunderstorms is expected in eastern Sardinia.

The regional civil protection has issued a yellow weather alert that will be valid until the end of the evening: the area affected is the Flumendosa basin, which on the maps of the weather office in via Biasi includes a territory that goes from Baronia to Sarrabus, passing through Ogliastra.

Temperatures will remain high, while cumulative rainfall is expected to not exceed 20 millimetres.
