From the collapse to the lights. New life for the new Fontanamare bridge, reopened last month after the long works necessary for the reconstruction.
It was April 2020 when the infrastructure that connects the provincial road 80 to the parking lot on the beach had given way under the weight - certainly not excessive - of a truck from the company that deals with waste disposal in the territory of the Municipality of Gonnesa .
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last month, which returned passage to sea. And since yesterday the new lighting system has been activated, with a beautiful effect in contrast with the setting sun, in the images published on the official Town Hall page.
