After the cold wave, a disturbance is arriving in Sardinia: an orange alert has been issued for hydrogeological risk across half the island.

According to the regional Civil Protection forecast, the areas most affected by the phenomena are in the east: from Gallura to Sarrabus, passing through Baronia and Ogliastra. "Moderate" criticality (orange color) is indicated between 6:00 PM and midnight tomorrow, November 4th.

According to the ARPAS weather center's forecast for today, "partly cloudy skies are expected in the morning, with increasing cloud cover during the afternoon, particularly in the eastern regions, where scattered precipitation is expected, including showers or isolated thunderstorms in the evening, with cumulative precipitation reaching high levels." Hence the warning: "Locally severe phenomena are possible, especially between Ogliastra and Baronie; elsewhere, isolated precipitation is possible, except in the northwestern regions."

Temperatures, however, will "generally increase, especially in the western areas of the region."
