All seven employees of the University of Sassari who ended up on trial accused of having checked the career of the former governor of the Sardinia Region Christian Solinas on the university website were acquitted. All of them were charged with unauthorized access to a computer system.

Judge Antonio Spanu ordered the acquittal because the fact does not exist for Paolo Deledda, Liana Carboni, Luana Mureddu, Luigi Antonio Catogno, Barbara Pes, Franca Carmela Sanna. Michele Meloni was instead acquitted because the fact does not constitute a crime.

The charges date back to 2019 when, according to the prosecution, the 7 employees had illegal access to data on Solinas' university career.

The defendants are defended by lawyers Elias Vacca, Teresa Pes, Nicola Satta, Sebastiano Chironi, Nanni Campus, Maurizio Serra, Camilla Pirino, Nicola Andrea Oggiano. The civil party lawyer is Salvatore Casula.
