Four acquittals and three convictions. This is what prosecutor Rosanna Nurra requested, this afternoon in court in Sassari, for the case of abusive access, in 2019, through the University computer system to the university career of former President of the Region Christian Solinas.
Seven employees of the Sassari institution are accused in the trial that today, in addition to the public prosecutor, saw the discussion of the civil party lawyer Salvatore Casula.
The prosecution retraced the steps of the case that began when two articles appeared in the press that questioned several steps in the former governor's university career. Following an investigation, the discovery of access to Solinas' computer profile and the accusations against the workers.
According to the prosecutor, Paolo Deledda, Michele Meloni and Liana Carboni should be acquitted because the fact does not exist, while Laura Mureddu should be acquitted with a doubtful formula.
Instead, sentences of one year were requested for Franca Sanna and Barbara Pes, and 8 months for Antonio Catogno, who, according to the prosecution, did not justify their entries in Solinas' profile, either because they were repeated without reason or because they were pushed by alleged gossip about the injured party's degree.
The next hearings, presided over by Judge Antonio Spano, will be attended by the defense and lawyers Maurizio Serra, Nicola Oggiano, Sebastiano Chironi, Nicola Satta, Giovanni Campus, Teresa Pes, Elias Vacca and Camilla Pirino.
