Abuse of several children with disabilities. This shocking accusation led to the execution of four precautionary measures in the Sassari area, issued today by the investigating judge, prohibiting them from practicing the profession of educator and prohibiting them from carrying out related activities.
The same number of educators employed at a facility for children with disabilities were also targeted by the measure, having been the subject of an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office and carried out by the State Police Mobile Squad.
The investigations provided evidence supporting allegations of mistreatment that had allegedly been committed against minors with autism spectrum disorders in the care of the educators.
A fifth teacher was also charged with misuse of correctional facilities. The facility was seized. The students, by order of the Sassari Juvenile Court, were transferred to an alternative facility.
