The parish of Santa Caterina will reopen for worship starting today, after a period of closure for safety improvements following the disasters that struck the town a few weeks ago, which also caused damage to the religious building. Its closure was recommended following an inspection by the local fire department.

In particular, the glass of the church dome was replaced, allowing the Parish to reopen this afternoon with the Holy Mass at 6 pm. The parish priest, Father Paolo Contini , wanted to thank the companies that worked on the restoration, as well as the Italian Red Cross for their support and collaboration.

"Thank you all for the work done," says the parish priest, "and for your dedication to ensuring the work was completed quickly."
