Abbanoa's water efficiency improvements between Via Marconi and Via Cimabue in Quartu are now in full swing. For this reason, water will be shut off throughout the town from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, except for the Pitz'e Serra neighborhood and the coastline, which are served by another pipeline.

To avoid disruption, Mayor Graziano Milia has issued an ordinance requiring the closure of all schools of all levels in the affected areas . The decision was made after consulting with school principals. The work will consist of replacing damaged sections of water mains and is part of a schedule agreed upon months ago between the municipality and Abbanoa following several broken pipes in some neighborhoods of the city, leaving residents without water for hours.

This time, since it was a planned intervention, it was possible to give advance notice so that citizens could stock up.
