On Friday 7 November the agreement was signed with the Sardinia Region for the €27,500,000 financing for the construction of a new section of the SP 133 Tempio – Aglientu junction .
The project involves Lot 4 – first section, between km 3+050 and km 5+200, excluding the section along the Tortu stream, which will be the subject of a second section. The announcement was made by the mayor of Tempio Pausania, Gianni Addis, who has been following the process with the Councilor for Public Works, Francesco Quargnenti, and the department's offices.
The project is financed for 22 million euros with FSC 2021–2027 funds and for 5.5 million with RAS resources, for a total of 27 million euros.
The project will significantly reduce travel times thanks to the straightening of the route and the construction of the Abba viaduct , interventions that will eliminate numerous curves currently present, reducing the risk of accidents.
The infrastructure has already received all the mandatory approvals from the competent authorities, with the PAUR issued by resolution of the Regional Council on August 27, 2025.
The executive design is currently underway, while the tender for the contract is scheduled for early 2026. Once completed, the project will represent a step forward towards greater safety and the modernization of Gallura's road system.
