The military personnel of the Alghero Company's Operations and Radiomobile Unit found a young man dying on the ground. At the height of an argument that erupted over trivial matters, he had been stabbed multiple times . Rescued by 118 personnel and taken to the Sassari Civil Hospital, he was admitted to the emergency department, where his life is not in danger .
The investigation, which relied on witness testimony, crime scene investigations, and analysis of video surveillance footage, allowed the precise sequence of events to be reconstructed and the alleged perpetrator of the stabbing identified. He is a minor, who was located and taken to the police station and subsequently, after the usual formalities, taken to the Quartucciu reception center .
The 15-centimeter-long switchblade used in the attack was also found and seized.
