Yet another accident on provincial road 79 toward Santadi. For reasons yet to be determined, a Ford Cmax and a Renault Clio traveling on the provincial road violently collided . The worst hit was a woman traveling in the Clio, whose car, following the impact, ended up off the road. The woman was rescued by 118 personnel from the Soccorso Narcao volunteers. Also on the scene were medical personnel from the Sant'Anna Arresi and India di Giba hospitals, along with nurses.
The Ford driver also suffered injuries, albeit less serious. Both were taken to the Sirai Hospital in Carbonia . Two children were also in one of the cars.
