A violent collision between a car and a motorbike in Villacidro has left a 31-year-old in critical condition at Brotzu Hospital.

According to an initial reconstruction, the small car driven by a forty-nine-year-old local man , for reasons currently being investigated , collided with the motorbike driven by the 31-year-old , also a resident of Villacidro.

The impact was particularly violent and required immediate emergency response.

While the car's occupants were fortunately unharmed, the motorcyclist's condition immediately appeared critical to the 118 emergency medical team who responded to the scene. To ensure the fastest possible treatment, the air ambulance was requested , which transported the young man in critical condition to the Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari , where he is currently hospitalized, in critical condition, with a guarded prognosis.
The Carabinieri arrived at the scene of the accident to conduct investigations and reconstruct the accident. During their investigations into the legality of the vehicles and drivers, the officers found several traffic violations. Given the irregularities discovered, the officers seized both vehicles and assessed the fines required by law.

The judicial authorities were also informed.
