Firefighters had to intervene this morning on the Sassari-Olbia highway, near the Costa Smeralda airport exit, to secure the road, which was covered in grapes after a truck lost its load.

The alert was raised around 11:30 a.m. The team, including a tanker truck that arrived as support from the city detachment, worked for about two hours to clear the roadway and make it passable again.

Traffic slowed during the operation: Anas and traffic police personnel were also on site.
