A truck loaded with waste catches fire, causing alarm and long queues on the 131.

Alarm raised on State Road 131, just outside Cagliari, at kilometer 9, heading towards Sassari, due to a fire that broke out on board a waste transport truck.

After the alarm was raised, firefighters rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames.

To prevent the flames from spreading, the truck's cargo was emptied of waste.

The operations inevitably created traffic disruption, with long queues of cars and slowdowns.
