Three people are suspected of being part of a gang that carried out a series of thefts at service stations and gas stations on State Road 131. They are being investigated as part of an investigation launched by the Oristano prosecutor's office.

The police investigation began following several incidents along the island's main road, during which businesses adjacent to fuel stations and service areas were targeted, from which tobacco products and cash were stolen.

A series of searches led to the discovery and seizure of numerous stolen goods, including dozens of cigarette packets , banknotes, and various burglary tools. The origin and possible use of these stolen goods in the crimes are currently being investigated further.

During the searches, a jammer was also found and seized , a sophisticated electronic device capable of generating interference on radio communications and mobile telephone networks and potentially usable to inhibit the functioning of alarm systems.

The discovery of the device led to a further development of the judicial police's activity: one of the three suspects was arrested in flagrante delicto for possession of the device.
