Porto Rotondo is like a Ferrari that needs to be revved up: this is the metaphor chosen by Rafael Torres Sanchez, founder of Luxe Capital Americas and an international executive with over 25 years of experience in repositioning iconic assets. Along with Edoardo Donà dalle Rose, the latest generation of the Venetian count dynasty that founded the town, he leads the "Porto Rotondo 2026" project, which focuses on the governance of the Consortium, which will be renewed in July. This grand operation, presented this morning in Piazzetta San Marco, brings to the forefront (although he likely won't be the designated president) the very young Edoardo, 21, grandson of founder Luigi, with a career already underway in technology. "I want to relaunch my grandfather's vision with the spirit of a new generation," he stated. "I'm young, but I know that to learn, you have to work hard: my grandfather built Porto Rotondo when he was my age." Promoting the tradition of this exclusive village, innovating in terms of technology and sustainability, and promoting the destination beyond the summer months are the key pillars of the consortium. "Ours," he explained, "is not a dream book, but an operational plan based on three concrete pillars: digital innovation, through the use of artificial intelligence and advanced systems to optimize consortium services, from utility management to security, to make life seamless for every member; integrated sustainability, to protect the most valuable asset—the environment—with internal electric mobility and greenery management that enhances the landscape, culture, and art, ensuring respect for Olbia and the surrounding area and ensuring seasonal adjustments."

The project proposes a system of thematic committees: a hospitality committee to coordinate the accommodation offering; a commercial and retail committee to revitalize shops and businesses; a services committee to ensure efficient maintenance, gardening, and waste management, leveraging leading technology partners in advanced solutions; a legal committee to oversee regulatory oversight and institutional relations; an artistic and cultural committee; and a sustainability committee. "The Porto Rotondo residential project," stated Rafael Torres Sanchez during the press conference, "represents, now more than ever, one of the residential and hospitality projects with the highest growth potential, not only in the Mediterranean, but across the entire international landscape. For too long, however, a proactive and concrete vision for revitalization has been lacking, one capable of viewing Porto Rotondo not as a collection of isolated entities, but as a unique ecosystem integrated into the ongoing development of the Municipality of Olbia. Our challenge is to strategically integrate all the business units that make up this extraordinary heritage: from art to culture through the Foundation, from events to theater, from the marina to hotel hospitality, and even the food and beverage sector. The project has already been presented to the Municipality of Olbia, a crucial step, given the critical moments in relations with the administration. In particular, the transfer of urban development works to the Municipality, sanctioned by the Regional Administrative Court, will have to be managed. The legal and administrative steps of the new management of the Consortium were outlined by lawyer Gabriele Escalar, a professor at Luiss University. Supporting the consortium are Luigi, Una, and Leonardo Donà dalle Rose, Edoardo's grandfather, mother, and uncle. Other professionals involved include Raimondo Ziruddu, Mario Sotgiu, and Gianni Pireddu.
