In his home they found approximately 2 kilos of cocaine and a whopping €12,400 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.

A 39-year-old man was arrested for drug dealing; he is believed to be a key source of cocaine trafficking in the Sulcis area.

The operation was carried out by officers from the Anti-Crime Unit of the Judicial Police and the police stations of Carbonia and Iglesias.

After numerous surveillance, stakeout, and local monitoring operations, investigators focused their attention on the 39-year-old. The raid resulted in the seizure of two kilos of drugs, still in their original state, and €12,400 in cash, as well as five electronic scales, packaging materials, a vacuum packing machine, and two cell phones.

The drugs, once placed on the market, could have reached a commercial value of approximately €400,000.00.

At the end of the operations, the man was arrested and taken to the “Ettore Scalas” prison in Uta, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
