Who does not remember the wooden leg from the film "Three men and one leg" by Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo? The sculpture, a symbol around which the story unfolds, was reproduced by a Sardinian craftsman who, amid a thousand vicissitudes, finally managed to deliver it to Giacomo Poretti of the comic trio.

Gabriele Mura, from Samugheo , made it with the wood of the pink poplar of Madrolisai and engraved the decorations of the Sardinian tradition on the object. He also added a blue ribbon, to recall the dress of his country.

The meeting was the crowning of a dream for Mura, who has a carpentry shop: "A more unique than rare opportunity to have met Giacomo, a splendid person in all respects - writes the young craftsman on social networks - who warmly welcomed."

But apparently the "garpez" (i.e. the reproduction of the leg) is an object in great demand.
