A nasty scare but no consequences for people or property at the Court of the Sun this evening, when suddenly a ceiling collapsed.

Water, flowing at high pressure through a pipe, suddenly burst through the pipe and then cracked the plasterboard ceiling. Water and debris fell heavily onto the floor below.

Fortunately, there was no damage, except for an unexpected "watering" for those nearby. No one was walking down there at the time, but the area flooded within seconds. According to witnesses, a check valve in the air conditioning of a second-floor shop exploded. This is a normal failure, which can happen, although an inspection will be carried out. Unfortunately, two shops had to temporarily close.

The area was secured, and within an hour, the situation returned to normal. Management has announced that the closed shops should reopen tomorrow without further consequences.
